Anantha Padmanabha Swamy is being part of the temple complex here as his grace is essential for sustenance of prosperity, which happens when dharma and devotion are followed together. Being the karanodhaka he observes all thoughts, intentions and actions of the human consciousness which plays main role in granting the boons to the devotees.
